This Bultaco Alpina 250 started its life as a 175cc. In those days the 175s were not that popular. Fortunately dealers were able to get 250cc top ends that could be put in place of the 175cc barrel and piston. Then these bikes sold very well. This bike was found as a runner, but was ready for a rebore and next size piston, and it needed cosmetic help as well. Below is the bike as found, and below that are photos of the finished bike minus decals and badges. It now has electronic ignition and a host of other new parts.
